Review: Laroche Posay UVIDEA XL BB Cream

Product: Laroche Posay UVIDEA XL BB CREAM

From their website:
"Unifies complexion by covering blemishes, fine lines, brown spots and hydrates skin. Helps prevent pigmentation and ageing induced by UV. Moisture replenishing. For sensitive skin. Melts into the natural skin tone for unified complexion and healthy-looking skin."

What I like about it:

Excellent sun coverage, made for sensitive skin which I do have.

It comes out quite dark (there are 2 shades) and I was initially afraid as I have fair skin, however it does blend into your skin tone and it definitely isn't as dark as it first looks.

Coverage is light-medium, it's not really something you can layer more on for extra coverage. Definitely a BB cream/ tinted moisturizer coverage. But it does do a good job of covering redness.

What is unique is its hydrating properties, you definitely feel the moisturizing element and you get a very smooth texture over your skin including fine lines. Because of the hydrating nature, you get a glowy look which oily skinned people would not like at all. It is definitely quite shiny, you do need to powder your T-zone.

What I dislike about it:

Quite a small amount for the price. Limited shades.

It has a very dewy appearance which may not be suitable for oilier skin types. Does not last very long possibly 6 hours.

Overall, I do like it because of its amazing sunscreen properties & hydration capabilities. Recommended for dry skin especially.
