Review: Make Up Academy (MUA) Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof Black
What I like about it:
The price, 1 pound!
What I dislike about it:
The brush is too flexible/flimsy, making it very difficult to draw a precise line.
The formula is flaky and does not go on well.
Really disappointing product.

Review: Make Up Academy (MUA) Mascara Shade 5
Product: Make Up Academy (MUA) Mascara Shade 5
What I like about it:
Incredibly affordable at just 1 pound!
It does an excellent job of lengthening your lashes. It has a very lightweight and tapered mascara wand making it very easy to get every lash.
I also find the thin tapered wand really good to get all my bottom lashes.
What I dislike about it:
It does not give much volume to your lashes and you have to work pretty fast because the formula does dry quickly on your lashes.
Overall, I find that it is wonderful for lengthening your eyelashes and it works extremely well paired with a volumizing mascara like Covergirl's Lashblast. Also, really good for the bottom lashes.
Well worth it for the price!

Review: Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
Product: Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (Non-waterproof)
What I like about it:
Very inexpensive, packaging is cute.
Brush is a nice size, not too big and does get your lashes well.
Easy to remove.
What I dislike about it:
Formula is very wet, cannot hold a curl at all. Has decent lengthening effect and is fairly black.
To make it work, I resort to curling my lashes again after I put on mascara which is largely discouraged by beauty experts as it tends to damage lashes and you risk pulling some out.
Also, since the formula is so wet, tends to smudge.
Given the hype over this mascara, I was very disappointed to see its poor effects.
Edit: After experimenting for a bit, I realized it works alright when layered with another mascara but overall, wouldn't repurchase.

Review: Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara
Product: Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara (Waterproof)
What I like about it:
Very black formula, it also lengthens well. The star is it's voluminizng properties which work. The mascara is not too clumpy and the formula is quite wet.
What I dislike about it:
While I am a fan of larger brushes, this one is a little hard to manovere and keeps getting on my eyelids. It took quite some time to get used to and I have to apply my mascara very carefully.
Also, it is a pain to apply to your lower lashes because it tends to get everywhere.
That being said, after I got used to it, I still like the fact that it is very black and gives me volume. Also, it stays on pretty well, and does not run even if I splash my face with water.

Review: Maybelline Long Extreme Double Stretch Mascara
Product: Maybelline Long Extreme Double Stretch Mascara
I bought it because it was marketed as easily removed just by using warm water.
What I like about it:
It does work pretty well as a mascara. It has two sides, one with white fibres to lengthen and the other side a normal black formula.
I like that it's effect is natural looking so it is useful for everyday use in school if you are more of a light make-up kinda girl.
It is pretty easily removed and does come off with warm water as claimed. I really like this because I sometimes find waterproof mascaras a pain to remove. However, if you have a problem with mascara smudging on you, it may be best to stick with waterproof mascara.
What I dislike about it:
It is not as black as I would like although the lengthening is pretty decent. There are plenty of other mascaras which will provide more volume.
It is a little tedious to have to use the white fibre side first before the other side, but it is good for lengthening.
