What I like about it:

I love that it is such a lightweight texture, feels exactly like water. It is really refreshing and gentle on my sensitive skin.

I use it to remove my make up with cotton pads and it leaves your face refreshed with no residue.  

What I dislike about it:

While a lot of people claim that this removes ALL their make up, I think this is more suitable for lighter make up. It does not remove waterproof mascara that well, or rather because it is quite expensive, I sometimes find it wasteful to use so much to remove make up completely. 

The price and availability is another downside.

However overall, it is a really good product for sensitive skin and it does remove most make up very well without drying out your skin or irritating it.

What I Like about it:

Wonderful gentle cleanser that suits my sensitive skin. It has no scent which I think is very important if you have sensitive skin.

It comes out as a white lotion and I put some on a cotton pad and wipe my face.

I love that it removes my make up even though it is so gentle. It removes light foundation, eye shadow, eye liner and non-waterproof mascara easily.

What I dislike about it:

I use it to remove daily light make up more so than a cleanser. Then I use my regular foamy facial wash and this double cleanse works perefectly.

Overall, a wonderful product and it is super affordable!

What I like about it:

Works as it claims, really intense exfoliating particles and has a wonderful smell.

A little goes a long way and it definitely scrubs away the dead skin cells.

Most importantly, I love that it does not dry out the skin AT ALL and in fact leaves the body feeling moisturized after you rinse it off, the shea butter really kicks in and leaves your skin soft and moisturized.

What I dislike about it:

Nothing much to fault except maybe the tub packaging. Pumps are always easier to use and more hygienic.

Review: Jojoba Oil

Product: Tisserand Organic Jojoba Pure Blending Oil

I use this as a daily night-time moisturizer/serum.

What I like about it:

I have been using it for about 3 months in the winter and I really like it.

I have very sensitive skin so I am always on the look out for natural skin care.

I use it every night, about 3-4 drops on my whole face and neck. On application, it does appear oily but by the next morning it will have been absorbed entirely into the skin, leaving it very moisturized.

What jojoba oil does is that it mimics the natural skin's production of sebum and tricks the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil, so it balances oily skin as well. Even though putting oil on oily skin seems counter-intuitive.

I have normal, sensitive skin and I find that it moisturizes well as I don't seem to be suffering from dry patches even in the winter months.

What I dislike about it:

I can't really use it in the day as it does leave an oily sheen and people who sleep with their face touching the pillow probably will experience some inconvenience.

Overall, I really like this product as it is natural and I feel safe using it on my sensitive skin. It does not clog my pores and keeps my skin moisturized. I get mine from Amazon and it is really affordable.

Review: Etude House Sheet Masks

What I Like about it:

I have tried the green tea version and I really love it. It moisturizes and has a calming effect on the skin. It does not irritate my sensitive skin which is really important when I look for masks (especially cheaper ones!).

The texture and material of the mask is very good and adheres to your skin really well. It is more of a cloth mask and is very soft.

After removing it, your face feels moisturized and gives you a glowy complexion.

What I dislike about it:

The mask seems to be quite wide and short, so it may not fit your face perfectly. 

Overall, these masks are quite affordable and thus can be incorporated into your weekly regime without breaking the bank!

Review: SKINLITE Sheet Masks

Product: SKINLITE Sheet Masks

What I like about it:

I have tried almost all the masks in this line, royal jelly, green tea, cucumber, seaweed, brightening essence etc.

I really like these masks because they completely do not irritate my sensitive skin. I am usually extremely intolerant to all scented cosmetic products/ harsh chemicals.

The masks are cloth masks and there are a lot of tiny slits throughout the mask. I find that although it is a little clumsy to put on, you get a hang of it and you can get a good fit on your face.

*It is important for sheet masks to adhere to your face to maximize the effects

I leave it on for about 20 minutes and my face looks refreshed, brighter and more moisturized.

*Do not leave sheet masks for more than the stated time (usually 10-20minutes) as this will have the reverse effect of drying out your skin as the mask is dried out and the moisture from your skin goes back to the mask. Never ever sleep with your masks on (unless it's a sleeping mask; see Laniege Sleeping Mask) as it will break you out and dehydrate your skin!

As a bonus, there is also a lot of product in each mask so when I'm done with the 20 minutes, I rub the rest down my neck. 

TIP: Leave your sheet masks in your fridge, the coolness will tighten your pores and make the entire mask experience more relaxing :)

What I dislike about it:

Nothing phenomenal. But it does moisturize and it's very soothing on your skin. I find that the different 'flavours' (green tea, seaweed etc) don't have much of a difference to my skin, they are all pretty moisturizing. I don't see a particular distinction in their effects. However, I do think the royal jelly essence mask is especially moisturizing.

For the price, I am quite satisified. It is pretty cheap and I usually get mine when SASA has an offer!

I would recommend it for young adults for a quick pick me up without breaking the bank.

Review: Laneige Water Sleeping Pack

Product: Laniege Water Sleeping Pack

A korean product which has a gel consistency. You apply it on your face at night and it functions as a leave-in overnight mask.

What I like about it:

Smells good, easy to apply, dries very quickly on your face as a transparent film. You can easily sleep with it and it will not transfer to your pillow.

When I wake up, my face feels very soft and supple.

What I dislike about it:

Does not seem to have intense hydrating functions. A little disappointed since I expected an overnight mask to be much more moisturizing. I would rate the moisturizing abilities to that of a simple day moisturizer.

Overall, the novelty of it seems to be the highlight. It comes in a huge tub so it is actually quite affordable. Does not break me out or irritate my sensitive skin so I will just continue using it.

Probably suitable for oily skin or climates which are warmer.
