What I like about it:
Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. Dr. Wu's formula is one of his star products and this is a powerful exfoliant that works! My skin is perceptibly smoother and softer after use.
The key benefit is that mandelic acid is more gentle and thus very suitable for sensitive skin or for more people who go out into the sun often or just want a more gentle introduction to AHAs.
What I dislike about it:
It comes in a really tiny bottle but a little goes a long way. Also, the instructions indicate that you should only use it 3 - 4 times a week so you really don't need a lot.
Overall, this is a perfect exfoliant for my sensitive skin and addresses skin texture and anti-aging issues really well.
